Doctor prescribed my wife to take shot of zyhcg hp 5k injection in every week and told us it is for holding pregnancy while she is pregnant and in 8 th month of pregnancy. When I searched about this injection then I found it is not recommended in pregnancy and it is used for infertility in women and men. So I am not able understand why doctor prescribed this to my wife in pregnancy? The doctor did not clear our doubt so please tell me what could be the correct reason for this injection in pregnancy?

Yes it is used in infertility but is also supposed too be pregnancy supporting though many do not use for same. Most of the medical problems need personally taking detailed medical history and examination with the need for reports sometimes so meet concerned doctor- obstetrician who can examine your wife.
